I rarely bother with information centers, but this one is beautifully run! Every pamphlet you could ever need, knowledgeable staff, and even a little museum. Ian was an absolute lifesaver in helping us enjoy our unfortunately short stay in Penrith~

We (myself & my other half) popped in there earlier to ask where we could find the o2 shop, (Google maps was wrong) the gentleman behind the counter was super kind and explained its actually near sainsburys and even gave me a map and drew directions . Supreme customer service & i was very glad to have walked in there. Thank you kindly

Thanks to the helpful staff, we had a limited two days in lake district and had a fine time visiting Carlisle and windemere and managed the time.
